Germany
My Germany stay part 2. I had my first anniversary with Timo, my boyfriend. We celebrated the new year “the true German way” by lighting fireworks like no man’s business followed by a fancy-ish dinner. We went bowling with a couple of relatives. Even with the language barrier I still felt included and I got to joke along with them which was great (of course I won :)). My last dinner in Germany was at a Canadian Steakhouse he wanted to take me back to in February, we got full quite fast but still good food. Of course a sad goodbye as we arrived at the airport for me to come back to the UK.
Back home.. yay?
The next day I travelled back to Bournemouth for the start-up from the half-term. Big boy shop to restock all the perishable food I finished or threw out before going back home.
University Life
Officially completed my first semester of uni. I completed all my assignments and courseworks, time to wait for the results to come out in February. Starting semester two, I’m dreading the CiB “week” due to basically the whole semester riding on one huge piece of coursework but I’ll figure it out. I’m excited because one unit is databases which I’m very keen on.
Social Life
Of course I spent a good amount of down time hanging out with my friends and going out for dinner once a week or so and hanging out between labs and lectures.
Timo had his 24th Birthday, so I of course spent all day with him playing Dead by Daylight and watching Supernatural <3.
