Welcome to the November Wrap-Up. This month has been a busy one: plenty of running around and getting uni work done.
Placement Pitch
I went to an event held by my university where companies nearby pitched their placement year job opportunities which I was quite interested in, however I’m (still) interested in “running” away to Germany for post-grad.
Student Rep
I became a Student Rep for my course, well technically for Computing but they’re on the same course pathway so close enough. I went to a meeting to discuss issues brought up in the course and figured out plans for resolutions.
Fall Out Boy!
I got to finally see FOB live, it was such an amazing experience. I was screaming every song and screaming in general. My friend and I had a bit of an adventure travelling around London as they had a large duffle type suitcase with that around rush hour London was a challenge but we made it so it worked out.
Family and Friends
’ve spent a good chunk of time with my friends but either going out for occasional Maccie’s or just generally hanging out on campus. My brother and his boyfriend visited for the week, my brother came for a tattoo and we went for brunch on Sunday before he left.
Roverway (On Tour)
I’ve been given the opportunity to attend Roverway 2024 as a Patrol Leader, this month I attended an event called “Roverway on Tour”.
University
One of my unit’s (Computer Fundamentals) had an assignment due so I worked until that date then started to work on my upcoming assignment for the remainder of the month.
