Petal Parade: A May Digest

Spending time with my friends

Beach picnic

The weather was finally nice enough to actually visit and enjoy the beach. So that’s what we did, my friend group and I bought picnic food and headed to the beach. Dom bought a ball for us to mess around with, practise footie and volleyball with an imaginary net.

Shopping Adventure

In preparation for CiB, we went shopping to find fancier shoes for Dom, we didn’t find any but we had a good day catching buses around the town.

Northern Lights Adventure

So the Northern Lights were visible in the UK for the weekend so we had a group dinner out to Pizza Express then a walk along the beach to try to catch them. We ended up “hiking” back up then half went back down then we later joined them. We never ended up seeing them but we had fun hanging out together so I guess that’s a win haha.

University

CiB commenced this month. I will make a separate post about CiB, however overall I think it was good. I at least had a good, fun experience. I rewarded my good first day with my favourite dish, Japanese Curry. To celebrate the end of CiB with a trip to Spoons (shocker), Dom had a pitcher while I had two Ciders but I didn’t realise how big they were so I ended up getting tipsy at 3pm which was super fun.

With CiB concluding the semester, I’m now finished for the year! I’ve completed my first year of University and it feels super surreal.

Timo Time

I’ve been playing on a Minecraft server with Timo as a way to spend time with each other without losing our will to live (in Valorant). I’ve been building random projects like a Barn, Fishing / Boat harbour, farming area and fixing up the pathing between all the buildings. I also made an incinerator with some basic redstone (but I never made redstone things so this was a big accomplishment for me).

Work Work Angelica

Since the end of term I’ve picked up many shifts for the Summer and the first week of the holidays. I’ve been working my lil butt off

TLDR; I’ve been super busy working and finishing up Uni
